115/ PRIDE SUNDAY

After watching the Parade from the vantage point of Santa Monica and La Cienega I intended to make my way to the grounds. While I did, a couple hours later, I also managed to make some stops at the LASC / Diesel party and a few other bars in the general area.
Walking past LASC I saw Ken, who was running the event, and he thankfully pulled into the fete. The main event took place on the roof, while there was a small reception in-store. The top of the parking structure was AstroTurfed out with kiddie pools abounding – some filled with water and a few with just some small balls for lounging. Party-goers drank freely, while models in barely there swimsuits lounged around while chatting up the crowd. Good fashion ran a muck, but then again, wouldn’t you expect that from a Diesel party? The choice to have the event of the roof left the event feeling spacious and inviting, even though the event was filled to the brim with a line by the elevators for the majority of the party’s duration. The big surprise at this event was Kelly Rowland’s appearance, she’s adorable btw.

I’m really appreciative that I was able to be a part of such an amazing event, and though the gallery may now be closed it’s purpose still lives on – more information can be found on their website. Thank you to all that attended. Continue Reading →
