With the holidays already in full swing, last Tuesday marked our joint Holiday event with Randy Blue, which was also coincidentally my birthday. Having been shooting the boys of Blue at appearances and what not for over a year, Jeremy Lucido and I came up with the idea to throw a party together at the Faultline. With the boys sparsely dressed and donning Santa hats, the entertainment was clearly taken care of. Just to note, the boys on stage included homies Travis James and Lucky Daniels, along with Justin Blakely and fan favorite Chip Tanner.
Compounded with Mario Diaz and Cody Bayne handling the hosting duties for the evening; and Victor Rodriguez, Daisy O’Dell, & Kevin Kauer handling the musical selection, we were set for quite the party. Big thnx to all the parties that assisted with execution, and all those that attended. Not gonna lie, have to agree with Mr. Starrfucker himself, it kinda was the party of the year.
Also, it should be noted that the crown I was wearing was all Mario’s idea.

Eric Adams masterminded Scary Mary by bring together LA super promoters Mario Diaz, Chris Bowen, Victor Rodriguez, & Cody Bayne and throwing one of the weekend’s most massive parties at 740. The costumes were redic, and the people were drunk – how I missed you 740. Some of the best costumes of the evening in my humble opinion were the bag of coke, and of course my intoxicated friend Jeremy’s version of an oompa loompa.
I decided to dress up as Mario Diaz for the evening, and somehow managed to make myself unrecognizable to some – but it really shouldn’t have been to hard to tell it was me, I mean the camera is a dead give away. Given the large quantity of people on hand, I was very lucky to have Brandon on hand to help me capture all the ridiculousness. One word: amazeballs. Makes me wish Halloween was once a month, but then again, I might die.

250/ SPANK NYC

Without missing a beat, I found the party the night I got into NY. Without even knowing it, old skool homie Victor Rodriguez and I had planned to be on the east coast at the same time. And to further the coincidence he was djing at both my nightlife destinations that weekend, the first being the Spank party.
The last event of theirs I attended was prematurely shut down by the NYPD, luckily this party didn’t face the same fate. The performances were solid, and the party packed – needless to say the music was on point. And the metaphorical cherry on top? – that I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Lady Miss Kier, definitely a surreal situation.

After grabbing some dinner at Forage with Riley, we headed over to the Eagle for the first Friday furry sensation known as Cub Scout. It seems that the west side has heard about the fun going on monthly, as there were several new attendees including Woody Woodbeck – who was more than elated to see Sam Sparro was also hanging out. As always, it was crowded and filled with friends – it was great to see Travis and Alessio outside of the Folsom bubble from the weekend prior.

172/ BLACKOUTS @ THE NEST

At last week’s edition of the Nest, Martin (@mrdn) & I had the honor of hosting. Now, that means we invite a shit ton of people, get to hang out with our friends, and drink gratis – we’re always up for that btw. As per the usual, Victor Rodriguez proved excellent at music selection and the clientele was extra charming, given that we had some special friends come out to support. In addition to our active duties, we were also there to assist in celebrating Bradley Tuck’s birthday – happy birthday boo! Once again, a fabulous night at the Nest. Be sure to check in tonight, when overall sweetheart Evan Janney will be hosting – it should also be noted that he’s a babe. Thank you again to the folks over at Villians Tavern (@VillainsTavern).
