674/ BRUTUS

Being proud stretched much further than West Hollywood this weekend with a special edition of east-side Pride, Brutus style. Special guest Sherry Vine graced the crowed, with Captain Diaz on deck and DJ Chris Bowen at forecastle. 332/ TRANNYSHACK LA

2011_01_16
Last weekend culminated with Trannyshack LA presented by Cody Bayne & Heklina herself, and while we don’t get to partake in the fun as often as those in San Francisco, the antics that ensue every so often at the Echoplex more than make up for it’s infrequency. It was an excellent surprise, as were celebrating the birthdays of Matt Chaney, Jefferson Hendrick, and some other due whose name I can’t remember – sorry.
With a different avant-garde act taking the stage every month, last week’s shirtless entertainment by Sir Earl continued in that tradition. And in proper tranny chaser fashion, Mario also had his now svelte band-mate Jackie Beat stop by with the lovely Sherry Vine, both in chic boy drag. And with that, tranny weekend overload had begun.
