Skipping ahead in some continuity to catch up to current and therefore relevant times, we’re going to catch up beginning with last week’s Booty Call. Lovely hosts and SF family, Juanita MORE & Joshua J. had me roam the especially massive crowd at Q Bar last Wednesday and I was more than elated. As always, with any trip into San Francisco, it was great to see all my friends in what has quickly become my second home over the course of the last year. Thnx for the fun, the stories, and to that handsome dude from Berkeley for making a pass at me in the most romantic fashion, appreciated dude.

With more people coming in than the night before, and festivities to include drinking all day by the pool, then all night by the other pool, debauchery would be synonymous with Saturday at the Ace. With DJs and performers flying in from Seattle and San Francisco the artistic collective was intensely strong. Everyone brought the fierce, though I’m not sure anyone could compete with the looks Dirty Diana consistently provides. Thnx to Hny Sndsystm, Juanita More, and Critter Control for providing solid tracks and the ladies for bringing the entertainment.

While Saturday afternoon started off quite peacefully at Dolores Park with George (@GeorgeJaramillo), Landon (@LandonConrad), Kennedy (@Kennedy_Carter), a bottle of Patron, and other assorted porn stars, the rest of the day seemed like a race across town. After a couple of hours soaking up the sun I went to meet Jeremy Lucido (@starrfucker) at the Big Muscle Party, not necessarily the best choice re: venue, but any time with Jeremy is a good time. Also on the Muscle Party +side was being able to see Alessio Romero (@AlessioRomero) and a few other LA friends in the sea of sweet. Actually, those may have been all the good aspects to the party.
After a quick nap, and dinner with Warren and Nick (@nickfoxx) we went to the Raging Stallion party. This was then followed with the tornado that was the combo of Big Top and Poppers. I say tornado, given that the only way to describe the proceeding hours after exiting the Raging Stallion party functioned as a force of nature. I saw many a homie, and given that the list would be longer than 20, I’m going to skip over listing everyone in this instance. Love you all – but it must be said that the surprise of Mario Diaz (@mariodiaz) at Folsom was an amazing surprise.

Night 2 in Joshua J. Gay Pride gayness brought Big Top vs. Trannyshack, and the arrival of Phyliss Navidad. Well, it was more of a return given that Ms. Navidad had residency up north before she came to LA, but you get the picture. This compounded with the birthday celebration of one Princess Kennedy made for one big drunk party.
& though I was disappointed by the absence of a trademark Heklina performance – as is standard in most Trannyshack shows, the rest of the girls were sharply on point. Kennedy handed out stickers, Phylliss stage-dived, and & Ronnie revealed. Btw, Big Top takes place the last Saturday of every month in SF, and when given the opportunity it’s a must attend for me – so GO.

Got out of LA this weekend to take part in some SF Pride parties. Being that the San Francisco version was my first Pride event ever, it holds a special place for me. First up on the agenda was Beat Box & Joshua J.’s MR. Any party involving mustaches is an immediate go to for me.
The talent was top notch, with David Harness and Larry Tee providing the beats all night, and a midnight performance by Bella of the Fire & Reason. Aside from that, all my LA people in town were able to make it over – always nice to get to party with my friends. Definitely the best way to kick of the weekend.

Post Milkshakes, I had some Two Boots pizza on the east-side then headed back toward WeHo for Duke’s Pride extravaganza. Joshua J. was in town to celebrate the lovely Phylliss Navidad’s birthday. You may know Joshua from his weekly w/ Juanita More Booty Call or his party Big Top, or quite possibly the images that appear of him on our site. Both ladies served as special guest hosts for the evening, and we were honored to have them. Philthy’s new wig was amazing, and I couldn’t stop complimenting her all night. Though the wig was a showstopper, the highlight had to be the hot piece that decided to gogo all by herself on the back stage, all I can say is thank you. Oh yeah, and Jessica Wild was there! It was nice to catch up, so happy for all her success.
Also, while I was there bar-owner Jay, and DJ extraordinaire Nelstar climbed a tree, I’m not shitting you.

Drove into the city with Daisy O’Dell in tow, had some quick vietnamese, then headed over to Qbar for Juanita More & Joshua J’s Booty Call. I had been the week prior, but couldn’t wait to make a return. The music was great, and I’ve always loved the venue, even before when it was called the Bar on Castro. Though, I’ve heard the Bar relocated I’ve yet to make the effort to look for it, likely cause it was the venue itself that made the experience, that and the tall happy hour long islands. I ran into to some familiar queens, and enjoyed documenting the night – see for yourself below. Btw, I owe an apology to Terry for not featuring him in the blog on my last SF visit, so he’s included this time – my bad.
