This party answers the question “Whaaaa?” After you step through the threshold to this shipping district hot spot, you’ll be greeted by none other than Ongina, the best little racist ladyboy in size 6 heels this side of Koreatown. Ongina and her hubby Ryan Wray throw this Friday night sensation, showcasing the werked-out tranz of Drag Race. This club has everything- shiny pink toilets, acid infused dollar bills, the Puerto Rican princess Jessica Wild, and the ghost of Amy Winehouse, and anyone can get in- there’s no password. At the door just do the RuPaul face, you know the one. Just when you think the fun can’t end, knock-knock, who’s that? Tammy Brown electrocuted by the voice of Donna Summer? Pollo Del Mar, hungover recounting her drunk Friday night? Eddie and Venus D-Lite working a freshly crisco’d pole? You get it all and only for the cost of your dignity, and we know thats cheap.

Last Friday in Long Beach a crowd of ready-to-dance and ready-to-drink boys and girls showed up at Boy’s Room for Ryan Wray and Ongina’s exhibition of the hottest drag queens, fresh off RuPaul’s Drag Race. We saw Raven chugging pitchers of beers, Sonique flipping and grinding, Pandora Boxxx’s best impression of a little girl, Eddie doing a moonwalk that MJ would be envious of, and Manila Luzon, oh Manila, as a sexxxxy Ronald McDonald, showing off why her milkshake brings so many boys to her yard.

Last night’s all-star Stiletto drag show at the Executive Suite in Long Beach held the audience captive and captivated. Ongina opened the show, and in-between numbers by the other girls she hosted and harassed the guests, all in love and jest of course. Aside from the reigning queen of lady-boy, also on hand were Raven, Shannel, Pandora Boxx, Tammie Brown, and a special appearance by latin spice Yara Sofia – quite the line up of queens.
After the scheduled set, the stage quickly turned over into a dance floor as the boys got sweaty and slutty under the cover of fog. All the while the ladies maintained the face and composure downstairs while meeting with fans.
Not having been to the venue in something like 5 years, the best way to return was with some amazing fake-lady friends.
