Bearded sea mate Mario Diaz busted out Brutus 2012 with a bang as Eastsiders packed Faultline on Saturday night. DJ Victor Rodriguez was on deck to spin some saucy tunes and First Mates Cody Bane and Aram Kirakosian kept the crowd drunk on the high seas. Resident sea hag Fade-Dra Phey got some crazy tenticles out and made sure to get those suction cupped fingers on all the seamen 10 little fingers can handle. Ahoy!

Who says summer ends after Labor Day? Tank-topped studs congregated at the MJ’s parking lot for Sunday Funday at Cody Bayne’s party THE LOT. A whorde of DJ’s including Phyliss Navidad and Josh Peace took turns keeping the crowd going all day long. We were treated to a special performance by HIGH FASHION and their troupe of renaissance collared dancers. The Trader Joe’s shoppers next door didn’t know what they were missing.

By night’s work I mean weeks of planning, promoting, and drag queen wrangling all along the golden coast; truly bringing meaning multiple meanings to Labor Day.

With equal parts adorable and inappropriate, last night’s installment of Fuzzy managed to be sexually charged and bloody. Bringing the hot were of course the ripe-smelling boys and a special performance by Deven Green. The stage show, complete with ukulele was almost over shadowed by her somehow alluring bee costume. Buzz indeed.
The blood, well it was from Fade-Dra, that should have been an easy deduction for those paying attention. There was also some hair being whipped back and forth, and excellent tunes provided by the Dingo, Strange Machine, and special guest furby Aaron Elvis.

Cody Bayne and Mario Diaz turned it out last Friday night for FUZZY. Strangemachine was packing the dance floor and the drinks were abundant. And just when you thought things couldn’t get better, Jessica and Hunter hit the scene, then they hit the stage. They tore up the crowd then tore floor by performing their new song, Alcohol (which happens to be my favorite drink too). After their set, Jackie Hell from Seattle took the stage and performed her jam, Clexy. That’s classy and sexy. Clexy. Overall, the night was nothing short of amazerblades.

The trannies from the north partnered with the lady boys from the south under the supervision of Heklina and Cody Bayne, to bring us the not often-enough occurring Trannyshack LA. With special guest Cazwell in the house to serve up some Burger King realness, both coasts were represented and the sexually-confused shenanigans could thus ensue. From the disgusting to the mainstream, all aspects of drag were covered and evening was wrapped up with the release of Johnny Makeup from a cage whilst dressed in head to toe Jeremy Scott.
