KEVIN KELLER

We’re not ones for endorsement of products on this predominately photo based blog, but sometimes we make exceptions. When friend of R-B, Colby Keller, alerted me that his distant cousin, Kevin Keller, would be getting his own hardcover graphic novel my comic-nerd alert activated. The first gay character in the Archie-verse was not only groundbreaking, but rather entertaining to boot. If history repeats, I’d order a copy of this stat. I promise, you can trust Colby + us.

Kevin Keller is the first openly gay character in the history of Archie Comics and currently stars in his own best-selling series of comic books. In this special paper-over-board novel, we focus on Kevin’s early, awkward years and the struggles and joys of his inspirational road to self-discovery. This sweet and funny coming-of-age story features a strong anti-bullying message and is a perfect gift for Archie fans, parents, and anyone who has—or is—struggling to find their place.

698/ RAUNCH

2012_07_20
Josh Peace returned to titillate the wolves + assorted woodland creatures at this month’s RAUNCH. This also happened to be the OFFICIAL OUTFEST after-party for Bear City 2, it was twice the bears + half the space. To commemorate the occasion especial we had the ONE + ONLY Miss Honey Bee on the mic.

674/ BRUTUS

2012_06_09
Being proud stretched much further than West Hollywood this weekend with a special edition of east-side Pride, Brutus style. Special guest Sherry Vine graced the crowed, with Captain Diaz on deck and DJ Chris Bowen at forecastle. With the ship full of friendlies, no better way to ring in the new day than with a special midnight birthday celebration for our boy Bradley Roberge. A lotta bit of booze and a little bit of cupcake made these some happy pirates. The east-side sure knows how to make us proud

524/ TRUCKSTOP FINALE

2011_09_09
The last evening of Faultline’s Truck Stop was quite the fete. With sisters, leather daddies, and Wendy Ho all in attendance the evening was practically promising an evening of fucked-up fun. Oh, and there were gogos, ass out and everything. Though the party has come to an end, I have been assured that this is not the last of Wendy Ho at the Faultline.
A special thnx to the sisters, for only giving us a taste of just how filthy they can be. Though the highlight of the evening can when the gas station attendant next assured me he had heard Wendy on the radio; you never know where you’ll find your fans.

499/ FUZZY

2011_08_12
With equal parts adorable and inappropriate, last night’s installment of Fuzzy managed to be sexually charged and bloody. Bringing the hot were of course the ripe-smelling boys and a special performance by Deven Green. The stage show, complete with ukulele was almost over shadowed by her somehow alluring bee costume. Buzz indeed.
The blood, well it was from Fade-Dra, that should have been an easy deduction for those paying attention. There was also some hair being whipped back and forth, and excellent tunes provided by the Dingo, Strange Machine, and special guest furby Aaron Elvis.
