The same evening that Shits&Giggles came to an end, I took in the Peaces show at the Orpheum with Kevin. The crowd was full of people I was destined to see at the Monte Cristo hours later.
The differentiation between this and any other Peaches performance was that this time she was acting out Jesus Chris Superstar as a one woman show of sorts. Granted there were backup dancers and who assisted with the final chorus number, but the lady owned the stage all on her own for the duration of all acts. While many came not knowing what to expect, many Peaches fans were happy to see something that is very likely to be repeated any time soon, well after the tour ends I mean.
