178/ MALL MADNESS

While Jeremy and company were having boat loads of fun, pun intended, I was up north playing catch up with some old, and new friends. Most notably I got to see Lady Bear in her native habitat. Though given her consistent bookings in LA, you’d think she lived here.
I’m a little sketch on the event specifics as I let my friends dictate the evening’s plans, but from what I gather we went to some tranny Oksana’s 90′s revival party Mall Madness. I agreed to go based on name alone, but I was happy to find out that Ms. Bear would be performed, in braids no less. After leaving I wanted to watch VH1 Classic and the Game Show Network simultaneously, I hope that was the intention. I also made out with some dude, it’s what I do in SF.

177/ BRUTUS

Last Saturday I had to hop out on early flight to San Francisco, granted I slept through my first one, but the next one would still be considered early. Early morning flights are not my friend, fyi. While I had a blast handling the business up north, I was sad to have missed the nautical circus that was Brutus. Discussing the event the evening prior with the Faultline gentlemen, I knew that the turn out was going to be nothing short of epic.
Since I was gone, and the rest of the team was otherwise engaged, I knew I had to bring out the big guns with a suitable sub. Given that, I asked Randy Blue’s (@randyblue) photographer extraordinaire Jeremy Lucido (@jeremylucido) to handle RB duties, and luckily he obliged. Jeremy, more than made me proud, and captured the essence of the evening, and it was hot. Given that Mario Diaz (@mariodiaz) & Chris Bowen were joining forces for a sailor party at the Faultline, you had to know that few people would sober, and even less would be fully clothed. Drunk sea men? Genius.

176/ FRESH MEAT

In addition to the stops at Faultline and 3Clubs, I also made my way over to MJ’s Bar to see the lovely Ongina (@ongina). Who just happened to be on hosting duty that evening. From her look that evening, lovely is putting it mildy, and though I could go into further flattering detail, and I’m sure she’d love it – I’ll go ahead and let the images speak for themselves. I mean, that head piece alone – work bitch!
Also on hand at Fresh Meat, was Randy Blue‘s (@randyblue) latest adult sensation, Ash Taylor. Though I’ve known Ash since before he made his cinematic debut, granted only by a few weeks, I’m very happy for the success, attention, and admiration that he’s garnered over the past few weeks. It’s very merited. And being sweet as pie, I hope he mainatins his midwestern type values, even though he’s a native Angelino. Two hot pieces at MJ’s, sounds typical for a Friday night.

175/ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRUCKSTOP

TruckStop’s first anniversary coincided quite closely with the birthday of the one Ms. Wendy Ho – coincidence? actually I think it might have been. Now I say Ms. Ho given that the majority of her songs are vulgar and about being, well morally loose to put it politely, so I would like to think she isn’t married. Given that, you can understand why I and many a homo love her specific brand of comedy so much.
Thor and Brian turned out the party and got my teeth and fingers rather stained with black frosted birthday cake. I mean if you’re going to make a mess, then why not a big one? In addition to the hoe, and the big dick contest I finally got to see friend of RB Ry Kirk dance at Faultline. Though we’ve seen him in his underwearm or less, around town as of late, there were quite the amount of fans asking to get photos with him at the aforementioned venue, but after 2 I had to stop. Sorry boys, more next time? Happy Birthday Truck Stop, I expect more filthiness from you in the coming year.

174/ FUZZY

Last Friday Mario Diaz & Cody Bayne’s bastard child Fuzzy came back from it’s sabbatical with a vengeance. And with it came the East West Hot Pockets and OC based familial rap trio Blok. Both acts performed with an hour break in between, which seemed properly timed so that Strange Machine and Dingo could maintain an active dance crowd.
The crowd was cute, and moderately hairy to boot. In addition there were gentlemen in speedos with rainbows covering their genitals – mostly obviously caused by the double rainbow phenomena, but really what’s not to love about rainbows on one’s peen. Complete with petting zoo, otherwise known as drunk ottters, this party had something for everyone. Hurrah!

173/ RIM JOB

While Martin & I were playing host, Brandon, or O. Snap, as he likes to call himself, was over at MJ’s for Rim Job. I’m a little sketchy on the details, given that I wasn’t there, but from the looks of it there was body painting, Marky MakeUp was airbrushing tattoos, and there were hot dudes. To simplify, it was a good time. Thanks for the photos O. Snap.

172/ BLACKOUTS @ THE NEST

At last week’s edition of the Nest, Martin (@mrdn) & I had the honor of hosting. Now, that means we invite a shit ton of people, get to hang out with our friends, and drink gratis – we’re always up for that btw. As per the usual, Victor Rodriguez proved excellent at music selection and the clientele was extra charming, given that we had some special friends come out to support. In addition to our active duties, we were also there to assist in celebrating Bradley Tuck’s birthday – happy birthday boo! Once again, a fabulous night at the Nest. Be sure to check in tonight, when overall sweetheart Evan Janney will be hosting – it should also be noted that he’s a babe. Thank you again to the folks over at Villians Tavern (@VillainsTavern).

171/ MUSTACHE FASHION

After landing on my much delayed flight back from Chicago, I headed over to La Cita, where Hi Fashion 9.99 hosted a a full on takeover at Mustache Mondays (@mustachemondays). Jen DM and team held the evening hostage, and no one seemed to mind – including myself, who was fully decked out in Warhol regalia, even had a blonde shag upon my head. Thank you Rick, for the HI FASHION makeover.
After the quick change, it was time for a shoot with a couple of sickly dressed gogos on stage, then for the main event. Jen & team killed it, and likely acquired quite a new few fans – btw, new music is currently for purchase on itunes, google that shit. Yes, that was a plug. Thanks to the fashionistas and mustache crew for having me for the night. Much love.

170/ BRANDON IN SPACE

Brandon also had the luck of the draw in getting to handle Bears in Space at Akbar the weekend before last. Bringing in the friendliest of the furries, the monthly gathering is a personal favorite, well for me and a few hundred other gays in LA. While I’m sad I missed the party, the tapas dinner I had in shy town made up for it to some degree. Though the sangria and company totally made up for it. From what I hear, there were a lot of hairy dudes making out, but what else is new?
