79/ CINCO DE MAYO

While Cinco de Mayo may not actually be Mexican independence day, google it, it’s still an excuse to indulge in excess and drink, and for that reason it’s worth celebrating. Also, as a technicality, the holiday starts at midnight – so I started the celebration Tuesday night at MJ’s. The evening also happened to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of Cris & Anthony’s ownership of the bar, cheers guys! I ran into friends new and old, while enjoying Jason running around in a sombrero and hot pants – thank you drinking holidays, thank you.

78/ HIPSTER BEAR WEEKEND

Once in a great while, the stars and Critter Control align, and Cub Scout happens to occur in the same weekend as Bears in Space. This weekend, happens to be one of those momentous occasions. Expect to have a blast with these fashionable furries as you dance the night away to top notch tunes spun by the Critter Control masterminds, Victor and Chris. Though we may be low on actual bears, there’s more than enough fuzz to go around. & as always, we’ll be handling the photo coverage – see you then.

77/ CODY’S BIRTHDAY

Last Saturday marked the birthday of the one and only Cody Bayne, I for one find this to be a cause of celebration. It’s just a coincidence that the date happened to coincide with his weekly at Fubar, Duke. Being an excellent artist, and more importantly friend I was more than happy to swing by and photograph. Coming straight from set, I brought Chanel as my date and after the long day we had, were ready to let loose. And that we did. Very glad I took pictures, a many, including myself, needed some help piecing the night together. Happy Birthday Cody!

What better reason to get dressed up in formal attire then to do a striptease on stage. None right? Well, that’s the concept behind Faultine’s newest Friday night rotation, Suit & Tied.
